Hugo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Amsterdam, followed by a master’s degree in Financial Management at Nyenrode Business University. Hugo’s path to Airbridge was uniquely shaped by hands-on operational experience.

He started his career in 2020 at the Airbridge portfolio company Roam.ai, where he worked for three years while finishing his studies. This deep dive into the scaling of a tech startup provided him with a unique perspective on the founder's journey. Following a brief period at a sports investment firm in France, Hugo rejoined Airbridge Equity Partners in February 2026.
